Check in was quick and easy. We had 2 primitive camping lots. The view was spectacular. The staff was amazing. Bathroom was clean. Even had showers and a changing room. Prices were great. Even check out went smoothly. We were conveniently close to Millers Restaurant. A MUST GO TO. We came from NY State. We left with awesome memories and plans to return ASAP!
Very nice campground. Lovely flowers and landscaping. Large pool and a small playground. Have stayed there twice and would stay again.
Stayed here Aug 27-31 2017. Campground offered a free tour of Amish area. Very very good tour. Tour was just over 2 hrs . Take advantage of this. Campground was clean and well kept. People were friendly. We stayed in a Class A with a tow car. We would stay here again
I'm sure I can find the same amenities and pricing nearby and they might actually be friendly. But two stars because maybe she was just having a bad day.
Tried to make a reservation over the phone. The person who answered the phone was unhelpful, unfriendly and unwilling to offer alternatives to the site I was requesting.
Example: if someone says good morning, hows your day so far? You shouldn't replying with a deep sigh and "how can i help you?" It really just insures the conversation is going to go downhill quickly. And then having asking someone to hold while you have a conversation with someone in the background...again downhill quickly.
To put this in context, I was calling for a reservation last minute, within a week of when I would like to stay, but common courtesy on the phone would have been appreciated.
Very nice, clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend. People in the office are very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
